Mosque, a common sight in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia <
I have fond memories of the city life and bustling streets and constant developments of malls, highways, flyovers, theme parks and observing the wealthy and rich families that we were privileged to meet. Ferrari's, Lamborghini's and Bentley's were a norm on the night streets of Jeddah. The traditional food and range of restaurants both local and international franchises were a favorite of my family's as we dined out nearly every night in different places of the city. The were friendly and very generous which comes as a surprise to many that ask about the Arabs who are fooled by international media coverage of the Middle East and it's people. Education is also taken seriously and thus I was able to go to a number of Jeddah's top international schools where I met people from all over the world who too loved the lifestlye and experience Saudi Arabia had to offer. These people are still in contact with me and now that we have moved on in our lives, we all reminisce of our childhood days in Saudi Arabia and only wish for one more trip to where many of our memories were made.
